Brief Biography: Dr. Elham Memary is a Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a senior faculty member at Imam Hossein Hospital. With more than 15 years of clinical, educational, and academic experience, she has established herself as a leading expert in regional anesthesia and perioperative pain management. After achieving first rank in the Iranian National Board Examination in Anesthesiology and completing fellowship training in Regional Anesthesia, she dedicated her career to advancing ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques and improving perioperative recovery. Dr. Memary plays a central role in training Regional Anesthesia Fellows and mentoring residents in advanced nerve block techniques. Her academic and clinical efforts focus on integrating evidence-based regional anesthesia practices into routine patient care, enhancing recovery pathways, reducing opioid use, and improving patient safety and surgical outcomes.

She is also investigating Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols and advanced obstetric anesthesia interventions to improve postoperative recovery, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
