Brief Biography: Dr. Seyed Sammehdi Hosseininasab is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a fellowship-trained Neuroanesthesiologist at Loghman Hakim Hospital. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology and subsequently pursued advanced fellowship training in Neuroanesthesia at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Hosseininasab is actively involved in the education of residents, fellows, medical students, and international postgraduate trainees. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as Coordinator of the Neuroscience Working Group within the Department of Anesthesiology, Secretary of the Hemovigilance Committee, and Researcher at the Skull Base Research Center. His academic interests focus on neuroanesthesia, airway management, regional anesthesia, perioperative pain control, and patient safety. Through his clinical, educational, and research activities, he is committed to advancing evidence-based anesthetic care and improving outcomes for patients undergoing neurosurgical and complex surgical procedures.

Current Research Focus: Dr. Hosseininasab’s current research focuses on optimizing anesthetic management and perioperative outcomes in neurosurgical and spine surgery patients. His ongoing projects investigate ultrasound-guided erector spinae plane blocks, perioperative pain control, hemodynamic responses during airway management, and strategies to reduce intraoperative bleeding and enhance postoperative recovery. He is also actively involved in clinical trials evaluating innovative anesthetic techniques and analgesic approaches in high-risk surgical populations.
