Brief Biography: Dr. Mina Vishteh is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a faculty member at Shahid Labbafinejad Medical Center. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, where she ranked eighth nationwide in the Iranian Board Examination. Dr. Vishteh combines clinical anesthesiology with a strong commitment to medical education and research innovation. She has received institutional recognition for excellence in educational development and serves on university working groups in artificial intelligence, virtual education, scholarship, and systematic reviews. Her academic interests include perioperative medicine, kidney transplantation, urologic anesthesia, patient safety, and the application of artificial intelligence to anesthesiology, with a particular focus on improving clinical decision-making and resident education.

Current Research Focus: Dr. Vishteh’s current research focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into perioperative risk prediction and clinical decision support. Her ongoing projects investigate machine learning models for predicting postoperative cognitive dysfunction, intraoperative hypotension, and urosepsis, alongside clinical trials in regional anesthesia and systematic reviews evaluating perioperative outcomes in kidney transplantation and urologic surgery. She also develops competency-based educational resources and EPA-based curricula to advance anesthesiology training.
