Brief Biography: Dr. Payman Dadkhah is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a fellowship-trained Pain Medicine specialist at Shahid Labbafinejad Medical Center. After completing his residency in anesthesiology, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Pain Management and has since become one of the leading experts in interventional pain medicine in Iran. Dr. Dadkhah has completed advanced international training in Germany, Romania, and Lebanon in ultrasound-guided pain procedures, spine interventions, and minimally invasive pain therapies. He has played a pivotal role in developing pain fellowship education, leading the Pain Clinic at Labbafinejad Hospital for over a decade and directing the university’s Pain Program. His academic work integrates clinical innovation, education, and research with the goal of advancing evidence-based interventional pain management and improving the quality of life of patients with chronic pain.

Current Research Focus: Dr. Dadkhah’s current research focuses on minimally invasive and image-guided interventions for chronic spinal and musculoskeletal pain. His recent work includes randomized clinical trials evaluating epidural steroid injections, intradiscal therapies, regenerative medicine, ozone therapy, peripheral nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided pain procedures. He is also investigating innovative strategies to improve functional outcomes and quality of life in patients with chronic pain syndromes through evidence-based interventional pain management.
