Brief Biography: Professor Seyed Masoud Hashemi is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a leading authority in interventional pain medicine in Iran. He is the Founder and First Program Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and currently serves as President of the Iranian Pain Society (IASP Iranian Chapter). Following fellowship training in Pain Management, where he graduated as the top-ranked fellow, he completed advanced subspecialty training in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Thailand in interventional pain procedures, endoscopic spine surgery, and minimally invasive spinal interventions. Professor Hashemi has established multidisciplinary pain services, pioneered innovative interventional techniques, supervised numerous postgraduate theses, and contributed extensively to clinical research, education, and international collaborations in pain medicine and perioperative care.
