Brief Biography : Dr. Ali Reza Jaffari is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and a Pain Fellowship specialist with extensive experience in pain medicine, perioperative care, and patient safety. He completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital), where he focused on patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. His academic and clinical interests encompass chronic pain management, image-guided interventions, difficult airway assessment, regional anesthesia, perioperative safety, and anesthesia education. Dr. Jaffari is actively engaged in advancing evidence-based practices and innovative approaches in anesthesiology and pain medicine, with a particular emphasis on integrating emerging technologies to improve patient outcomes and procedural safety.

Current Research Focus: Dr. Jaffari’s current research focuses on AI-guided interventions in pain medicine, regenerative medicine, and fascial plane blocks, with an emphasis on improving precision, safety, and clinical outcomes. His ongoing projects explore the integration of artificial intelligence with ultrasound-guided procedures, biologic and regenerative therapies, and novel fascial plane techniques to enhance procedural accuracy, optimize patient selection, and advance evidence-based innovation in perioperative and chronic pain care.
