Brief Biography: Dr. Alireza Mirkheshti is a Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at Imam Hossein Medical and Educational Center. He is a regional anesthesia specialist with a strong clinical and academic focus on nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided analgesia, and acute pain management. In addition to his leadership role in departmental administration and education, Dr. Mirkheshti is actively involved in advancing evidence-based regional anesthesia techniques and improving perioperative pain control strategies. His work combines clinical practice, resident education, and research aimed at enhancing the safety, precision, and effectiveness of anesthesia care. Through his academic and professional activities, he contributes to the development of modern pain management approaches and the integration of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia into routine perioperative practice.
