Brief Biography: Professor Badiozaman Radpay is a Professor of Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Pain Management at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a senior faculty member at Shohada-e-Tajrish Medical Center. He has completed advanced fellowship training in Germany and Austria in Critical Care Medicine, Neuroanesthesia, Neurocritical Care, Acute and Chronic Pain Management, and Transesophageal Echocardiography, with additional international training in lung transplantation, jet ventilation, and interventional pain management. Throughout his distinguished academic career, Professor Radpay has served in numerous leadership positions, including Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, former Head of Shohada-e-Tajrish Medical Center, Vice Chair of the Iranian National Board of Anesthesiology, and Director of the National Thoracic Anesthesia Fellowship Program. He is internationally recognized for his pioneering contributions to thoracic anesthesia, lung transplantation, critical care medicine, pain management, and anesthesiology education, with extensive experience in clinical leadership, research, and national curriculum development.

His work also encompasses one-lung ventilation, extracorporeal respiratory support, perioperative nutrition, organ donation, educational innovation, and evidence-based strategies to improve perioperative outcomes in high-risk surgical patients. He continues to contribute to national initiatives in anesthesiology education, fellowship development, and healthcare quality improvement.
