Brief Biography: Dr. Faranak Behnaz is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Shohada-e-Tajrish Hospital, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She earned her MD degree from Islamic Azad University and completed her anesthesiology training at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, achieving 7th rank nationwide in the Iranian Board Examination. Dr. Behnaz completed advanced international training in thoracic anesthesia at Larrey Hospital in Toulouse, France, and has extensive experience in clinical anesthesiology, critical care, medical education, and academic leadership. She has served in numerous executive and educational positions, including Head of ICU and Reanimation, Blood Transfusion Committee Secretary, and faculty development committees. Her research and clinical interests focus on critical care, neuroanesthesia, airway management, perioperative medicine, blood transfusion safety, and anesthesiology education, with a substantial publication record in these fields.
