Brief Biography: Dr. Homayoun Aghamohammadi is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a senior faculty member at Shahid Labbafinejad Medical Center. With more than two decades of experience in clinical practice, medical education, and academic leadership, he has played a key role in advancing anesthesiology and perioperative care in Iran. He previously served as Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Shahid Labbafinejad Hospital and was a member of the National Anesthesiology Specialty Board. His clinical expertise includes advanced airway management, kidney transplantation anesthesia, pain medicine, and perioperative care for complex urological surgery. Dr. Aghamohammadi is also an innovator in medical technology, holding a registered patent for a video laryngoscope, and has contributed extensively to residency education, curriculum development, and evidence-based anesthesiology research.
