Brief Biography: Dr. Houman Teymourian is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and serves as Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Head of the Operating Room at Shohada-e-Tajrish Hospital. With more than two decades of experience in clinical anesthesiology, education, and academic leadership, he has played a pivotal role in the development of fellowship training programs in Neurosurgical Anesthesiology and Regional Anesthesiology. Dr. Teymourian has held several key leadership positions, including Vice Chair for Education of the Department of Anesthesiology, and has been actively involved in national and international professional organizations. His clinical expertise encompasses neuroanesthesia, regional anesthesia, airway management, perioperative medicine, and critical care. He is also a prolific researcher, educator, author, and reviewer with extensive contributions to anesthesiology literature and postgraduate medical education.

His recent projects include ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, postoperative pain control, prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting, infection control measures, and anesthetic management in neurosurgical and high-risk surgical populations.
