Brief Biography: Dr. Kamal Fani is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences with more than 28 years of experience in clinical anesthesiology. Over the past 15 years, his professional practice has focused primarily on adult and pediatric cardiac anesthesia, including anesthesia for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiac procedures. He has extensive expertise in the perioperative management of high-risk cardiac patients and is actively involved in clinical research aimed at improving outcomes in cardiac anesthesia. His academic interests include optimizing hemodynamic management, reducing perioperative complications, minimizing transfusion requirements, and enhancing sedation strategies. Through his clinical, educational, and research activities, Dr. Fani is committed to advancing evidence-based cardiac anesthesiology and improving the safety and quality of perioperative cardiac care.
