Brief Biography: Dr. Mehrdad Taheri is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a fellowship-trained Pain Medicine specialist at Imam Hossein Hospital. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions, with particular expertise in interventional pain management and minimally invasive pain procedures. His clinical practice focuses on the management of spinal pain, lumbar and cervical disc disorders, osteoarthritis, joint pain, neuropathic pain, and postoperative pain syndromes. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Taheri serves as the Director of the Pain Fellowship Training Program at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, where he is actively involved in the education and supervision of residents and pain fellows. His professional mission is to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from chronic pain through evidence-based practice, innovation, and minimally invasive treatment strategies.
