Brief Biography: Dr. Nastaran Sadat Mahdavi is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She serves as Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Anesthesiology and Head of the Operating Room Division at Mofid Children’s Hospital, one of Iran’s leading tertiary pediatric referral centers. Her clinical, educational, and research activities focus on advancing the quality and safety of pediatric anesthesia care. Dr. Mahdavi’s expertise includes difficult airway management, anesthesia for children with complex medical and syndromic conditions, pediatric dental anesthesia, and central venous catheterization in neonates, infants, and children. She is actively involved in resident and fellowship training and is committed to improving perioperative outcomes through evidence-based practice, clinical research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
