Brief Biography: Dr. Noor Mohammad Arefian is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a faculty member of Shohada-e-Tajrish Hospital. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University, graduating as the first-ranked candidate in the Iranian National Board of Anesthesiology Examination and receiving national recognition from the Ministry of Health. Dr. Arefian previously served as Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Educational Deputy of the department, and Director of the Pain Clinic at Shohada-e-Tajrish Hospital. His academic career integrates clinical excellence with education, perioperative medicine, intensive care, and translational research. He has published extensively in perioperative neuroscience, neurophysiologic monitoring, pain medicine, critical care, and perioperative outcomes, while actively contributing to residency education, scientific committees, and peer review for national and international journals.
