Brief Biography: Dr. Parisa Sezari is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and a fellowship-trained specialist in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Management at Loghman Hakim Hospital. She earned her MD from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences before joining the faculty in 2016. In addition to her clinical expertise in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and perioperative pain management, Dr. Sezari has held several academic leadership positions, including Head of the Educational Development Office and Deputy of Education at the Faculty of Medicine. Her academic work bridges clinical anesthesiology, medical education, and digital innovation, with a particular focus on competency-based education, workplace-based assessment, and the application of artificial intelligence to perioperative medicine and anesthesiology training.

Current Research Focus: Dr. Sezari’s current research focuses on novel ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques, perioperative analgesia, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to anesthesiology. She is also actively involved in educational research on competency-based medical education, Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), innovative assessment strategies, faculty development, and predictive models for airway management and perioperative outcomes.
